6:15 Originally, I was going to give travel tips to frequent flyers. After starting to get into it, it occurred to me that there was a huge flight disaster the night before. I figured that it might not affect anyone in our area but it seemed sort of inappropriate or frivolous to talk about packing light tips. So instead, I decided to use:

This is interesting: Track Your Child’s Every Move with New Wristband Device

Good news if you’re a helicopter parent. LG Electronics unveiled a new water-resistant polythiourethane wristband device Wednesday that allows moms and dads to track their kids with GPS and WiFi and receive advisories about their child’s exact whereabouts throughout the day via a smartphone or tablet.

The device, dubbed the LG Kizon, is designed for the wrists of pre-school and primary school children and comes in bright colors and with various kiddie accessory features.

In addition to tracking your child’s every step, the device also provides communication via a “One Step Direct Call” button.  If a parent calls their child and doesn’t get an answer, the device will automatically connect the call and let Mom and Dad listen in on what's going on via the device’s built-in microphone.

"Children as well as the elderly are ideal customers for wearable technologies," LG Electronics Mobile Communications CEO
Jong-seok Park said in a statement. "Wearables allow us to stay connected without the worry of losing a device or the inconvenience of having to carry a large item in a pocket."  LG has not announced a price for the Kizon.

The device will go on sale in North America in the fall. Read more here:

8:15  I have a friend I'll call "L". She just seems to have the funniest little stories on Facebook. So...she posted this the other day. Ha! BTW, We might be on to something with "Things in your pants Friday" stories...the is the second I've had. Maybe I should make it on Thursday? Things in your pants Thursday does have a ring to it!

"This afternoon I had a meeting with some folks. We had a sit down discussion and then we were going to get up and go look at some equipment and go through some demos. When I got up I placed my phone which had been on the table into my back pocket.....or so I thought...what I really did was accidentally slide my phone between my underwear and jeans. As I started to walk with a group of people I realized to my horror that my phone was sliding down my pants. Since it was black skinny jeans it stopped down by the inside of my calf just below the knee. I could hear the bottle cap sound coming out of my pants each time someone texted me. I kept asking questions so no one else could hear or have a chance to figure out where it was coming from. I spent an entire hour praying it wouldn't ring. Finally I had a chance to excuse myself and go to the rest room to retrieve it. I had 8 new messages. Yep. Just another day in the life."

---The woman lives a sitcom, I tell ya.

8:15 Friday Toy Memory: The groovy TV show Wonderbug. It was sort of a real life Scooby Doo. It had teens who were solving crimes and stuff but with the help of a car that used to be a piece of junk.  The clothes, the premise, the actors...it was so 1970's and awful. I loved it!

If you only have time for one thing, check this out...remember this opening sequence? Whatever happened to the actors in that show?

You can watch a portion of the show here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jjk41C5Eh5o
