Top Halloween Costumes, Bad places for your iphone and more!

Hey it's Rona. I woke up with a headache today so I'm making this one kind of short.


What are you "going to be" for Halloween? I'm thinking of being the Morton's Salt Girl. Here's an example <===========on the left. It's not a popular choice so I know I will probably be the only one at the party.

Spirit Halloween retailer has officially opened its doors for the 2012 Halloween season, providing costumes and decor to suit all ghouls and goblins. From super heroes like The Avengers and Spider-Man to on-screen favorites “Adventure Time” and “Monster High,” Spirit Halloween has kids covered with this season’s top costumes. And for adults, the hit movie “Ted” will be battling it out with movies like the “Hunger Games” this October. Spirit Halloween says this year’s top costumes will be:

  1. The Avengers     
  2. Spiderman
  3. Adventure Time     
  4. Hunger Games
  5. Monster High     
  6. Ted
  7. Power Rangers     
  8. Angry Birds
  9. Batman     
  10. Zombies
If you're still stumped for a quick last minute costume look here for stuff you probably already have at home.





Last week, Fred --who is on our sister station 95.9 The Big Dawg, was telling us that once he laundered his cell phone and didn't realize it until the spin cycle. Yikes. Well that's not the worst place for cell phones according to a company that offers insurance for electronic products. You'll never guess the most dangerous place for an iphone...wait for it. It's not the bathroom with the whole toilet thing it's the KITCHEN!!!! Read more here.
