Passive Aggressive Notes, Love Notes, Friday Toy Memory...uh, notes

When Friday finally rolls around, you get it. You're pretty much done for the week. You just want to get your job done and roll out. For me, I love my job so I want to roll out after I've done all the stuff. That said, here's your blog for today.

This morning, Hans and I arrived to find a note in the studio that was cryptically written and the best we can tell is that it was meant to be inspiring for the day or to get us to connect with you guys more. In other words "Hey DJ's...think about your listeners by following this sage advice". <===========I won't post here what it said (I should because I'm pretty certain NO ONE ever reads this blog) but needless to say we had some fun on the air with it. Hope you heard it! :)

Speaking of little notes. Have you ever seen that website: www.passiveaggressivenotes.com. If not, you should definitely check it out!

On the subject of other kinds of notes. Love notes. Hans revealed that he used to write his wife love notes (say it with me...
AWWWWW). Well if he still did it, he'd be in the minority...BIG TIME! Read on my little romantics to see what I mean...

A new survey reveals that a measly ONE in every 25 men still writes love letters. Instead, couples are turning to e-mail, text, and tweet sweet nothings to one another. In fact, a whopping 92 percent of men and 96 percent of women rely on e-mail to send a message to a loved one, while 89 percent of men and 97 percent of women express their feelings via text. Twitter isn’t as prevalent – but it still gets 39 percent of men and 43 percent of women to share their feelings. That kinda stinks doesn’t it? Here's the article.

Friday Toy Memory: This is not my memory but I asked a friend and I figured I should represent all those that like Star Wars (or should I say boys who liked Star Wars!).  The toy is a big old walking bug lookin thing called: "AT-AT".  If you still need clarification here's the wikipedia page for ya!  Here's a video that shows on in action<======I don't get it.

AT-AT day afternoon from Patrick Boivin on Vimeo.
