That working lunch isn’t working for your waistline.  A survey found that of the 60% of people who eat lunch at their desk either daily or almost every day, half have gained weight.  It’s no wonder - 50% say they’re more likely to indulge in unhealthy junk food from the office vending machine when they eat “al desk-o.”  These days, only 18% of office workers take a lunch hour every day, down from 85% a decade ago.  Nearly 60% say they feel pressure to work through lunch, which explains why the majority take no more than a half-hour break.

The late comedian Andy Kaufman may actually be alive, according to his brother Michael. For years there have been rumors that Kaufman faked his death, but Michael says he now believes it’s true. On Monday, at the 9th Annual Andy Kaufman Awards at Gotham Comedy Club in NYC, Michael revealed during his closing speech he had once found an essay in which Andy laid out plans to fake his death (he allegedly died from cancer in 1984). Michael then said in 1999 a man handed him a letter, allegedly from Andy, in which the former Taxi star explained he had secretly been living as a stay-at-home dad with a wife and daughter. Then Michael introduced a 24-year-old woman who he said was Andy’s daughter. The woman told the audience that the passing of Andy’s father in July made him “want to reach out” and that he considered revealing himself that night, but backed out.

Barely 24 hours after news hit that Andy Kaufman may still be alive, it’s looking more and more like a hoax.    The whole thing started at the 9th Annual Andy Kaufman Awards at Gotham Comedy Club in NYC Monday, when  Michael Kaufman said he received a letter from his brother who was alive and enjoying life as a stay-at-home dad. He then introduced a woman who claimed to be the Taxi star’s 24-year-old daughter. But now reports claim the woman is actually Alexandra Tatarsky, a 23-year-old actress. During a brief interview with theHollywood Reporter, Michael wouldn’t comment on Tatarsky, but did say, “I think I've been misquoted, OK? I never came out with, 'He's alive.' I'm as skeptical as anybody else."
