More inclined to lie when texting? Read this!

Folks fib more frequently when text messaging, a new study suggests. Why? They feel like their words aren’t as closely scrutinized. Rather, they believe they are watched far more closely by their peers when communicating face-to-face and/or via video -- a perception researchers call the “spotlight effect.” Read about the study here.
