Guide to Super Bowl XLVI

Its Super Bowl Sunday! I thought I would do a little write up to get you ready for the big game today on NBC between the New England Patriots and New York Giants. This will catch up people who don't watch football and also provide good information for those who do watch football.

First the Entertainment: Kelly Clarkson will be singing the National Anthem, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will be singing "America the Beautiful" and of course Madonna will be featured during the half time show. I am sure she will have something fun planned. Also something that will have people talking. Good or bad.
Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth will call the game on NBC. They are both good at what they do and should be able to explain things well to the national audience.

The Teams: Tom Brady leads the New England Patriots to their 5th Super Bowl appearance with him at Quarterback, winning 3 of them with the only loss coming to these same Giants in 2007. The Patriots were the #1 seed in the AFC with a record of (13-3). Eli Manning leads the Giants to their 2nd Super Bowl appearance with him at Quarterback, both against the Patriots. The Giants finished the regular season at (9-7) and were the #4 seed in the NFC. Manning was named the MVP of Super Bowl XLII. So both teams know each other well, they actually played during the 2011 season in New England, with the Giants winning 24-20. The question is, which team will win the big game today? And of course the bigger question: What snacks will I be eating during the game? So many options... Should be a great Super Bowl Sunday!

Game time is 6:30 on NBC, with many hours of Pregame before that. And after the game, Season 2 of The Voice debuts.
