Dog Wedding... Why

Would you throw your dog a wedding? Um I think it's kind of dumb but I do think it's a great way to raise money for Humane Society (so they get a pass).
New York Dog Wedding Breaks World Record
It was billed as the pet wedding of the century. Two dogs got married yesterday at an extravaganza to benefit the Humane Society of New York. The bride "Baby Hope Diamond", a Coton de Tulear, was led down the aisle in
her canine couture gown. Her poodle groom was "Chilly Pasternak" from Richmond, Virginia. After they got hitched, the furry couple was presented with a Guinness World Record in the category of most expensive pet wedding at $158,187.26. The luxury goods and services that went into the wedding were all donated. Guests bought tickets for the Manhattan fundraiser. Baby Hope was adopted by animal welfare activist Wendy Diamond after her beloved Maltese named Lucky died of cancer last month. Lucky herself held a Guinness Record: The animal most
photographed with famous people. The black-tie gala, held at the Jumeirah Essex House Hotel at Central Park, included a celebrity wedding planner, a lighting guru and highly touted chefs for the reception. A company co-owned by Ellen DeGeneres provided a pet food buffet. The wedding was officiated by Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. See the video here.
Ever wonder whats in the "Special Sauce" on your Big Mac? Dan Coudreaut, executive chef for McDonald, has revealed the secret behind Big Mac secret sauce. All you need to make the Big Mac sauce is store-bought mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, classic yellow mustard, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika. The paprika, Coudreaut said, gives it a little flavor but it also helps to enhance the color. Coudreaut recently made a YouTube video demonstrating that anyone can make the secret sauce in their own home. Check out the video below as he makes it!
