6:15-Talked about Dancing with the Stars... Ilike the show but they behave as if the weight of the free world depends upon us choosing our favorite B-list celeb to be the champion of this competition. I'll admit, I started to watch it last night but saw about 10 minutes and had to turn it off. Please, there are much bigger fish to fry. I know that the B-list celebs challenge themselves and they work hard. I also know that the money goes to a charity of their choosing but I still thing it's a whole lot of hubub for not much. I must be cranky because it got on my nerves last night.
7:15 9The 9 most annoying guests you'll meet this Thanksgiving
I know The Food Pusher and the Nosy Aunt! Totally. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/23/thanksgiving-guests_n_4326787.html?ncid=edlinkusaolp00000003
Funny, I found another list from buzzfeed that put it into perspective too. Know these people? I do.
8:15 Really? I'm surprised. I don't--but maybe there are people. ADULT ARCHERY
Did you know that West Virginians have the highest rate of adults participating in archery in the nation? I sure didn't. The AP and The Charleston Gazette reports a recent survey finds archery is practiced by one in seven Mountain Staters. Curtis Taylor, wildlife chief for the state Division of Natural Resources, says he sees backyard targets all over the state. And he's proud West Virginians are leading the nation in archery. The last time I played archery was in summer camp at Camp Wabanna when I was like 13 years old. Cool.
Update: After I said this on the air, I got a few calls and people mentioned tha there is a local young lady named Kaitlyn Price who is a Professional Archer. Who knew? I love when I learn neat stuff from my job! Here is some info about her. http://mathewsinc.com/prostaffer/prostaff-kaitlyn-price/
