Dance Moms, and Women are more techy than men

So today I mentioned that TV show on Lifetime called "Dance Moms". Anyone seen it? It's a trip. This dance coach/instructor Abby is a real meanie. She yells at the parents for not doing enough to support their young dancers. She's got a "bite" to her personality and it provides the perfect fodder for a reality show. I have to admit that sometimes, I'd like to reach through the TV, grab her by the collar, and yell at her to knock it off. No need to be so mean lady! Anyway, if you have no idea what I'm talking about, here's a little clip of her saying why her kids and their moms are ungrateful.

Also this morning, I came across a new little study that said that women out-buy men when it comes to electronics. Funny because that's not the common perception. The study said,
"Women are more likely than men to purchase tablets, laptops and smartphones -- three out of the four top consumer electronics categories, according to a new study. The survey, which was conducted in late 2011, asked 2,000 men and women what tech products they intended to buy before January 1, 2012. The only category in which men surpassed women was flat screen LCD TVs, with 19 percent of men favoring them over 17 percent of women. The study also found that once a woman owns a product, it’s heavily used over time. Women engage in more digital media activities -- including watching full length movies online, downloading music and uploading pictures to the Internet -- than men."
