Biking cross country, Funny new TV and more!

I'm going to give the boildown because I'm in a hurry to type today...

On the show this morning. I talked about my friend Greg who decided to bike across the country from Oregon to Maryland...in the summer! What a nut! He did it! It took him 5 weeks to the day. There were times when he felt like giving up in 100+ degree temperatures but he acheived that goal. Kudos! I'd never even be able to ride a bicycle out of the state without giving up! I told him he needs to write a book. In the meantime, we have his blog Oregon2Maryland.wordpress.com to read. Check it out. See the pic at the end with his new puppy...he's a hottie, the dog I mean!! :)

Have you ever wanted to borrow your neighbors car for an hour? Or a day? Check out this new website called Relay Rides where you can rent cars from people in your community. This service is nationwide, has no membership fees, and has insurance included! This is what I read that made me so interested in it.

"Rent Cars from Your Neighbors with RelayRides...You don't have a car.
Stepping in to fill that void is RelayRides, a new site that lets you rent your neighbor’s car right from his driveway.   Search for vehicles by type, distance from you, or available amenities. Hourly and daily rates are available; in some cases you can even unlock the car and start your rental with a text message or via RelayRides's mobile site. Reviews from past renters act as endorsements for future renters, but the pièce de résistance is really the site’s million-dollar insurance policy. Whether you're behind the wheel or the one loaning it, you're covered.  So that convertible you’ve been eyeing in your neighbor’s driveway? It’s all yours."

This morning, I chatted with Steve Byrne from the new TBS show "Sullivan and Son".  He was lots of fun and he's super stoked about the show! Check it out tonight! It airs Thursday nights at 10:00pm on TBS. The TBS  Sullivan and Son page has lots of fun games and show info so check it out!  Like them on Facebook too!

Have you ever been talking to someone and notice that they have a huge hunk of food in their teeth. I have been calling it "Pepper tooth" for years. I think I got it from my friend Heather and it became a "thing" between us. No matter what the food was, it's called Pepper Tooth. Evidently, we're not the only ones to think up these gems. Check out the listing on Urban Dictionary.com.
