Best/Worst for your heart, Halloween Masks, bacon wrapped breadsticks, You Go gi

Mornin. It seems to me that when we have foggy days, it just produces a fog in my mind too. I can't tell you the number of times that I forget what I was planning on doing on days when it's foggy. It's got to be in my mind right? If you can relate, drop me an e-mail about okay? rona@lite975.com!

I came across this study about best and worst cities for your heart. At least in Martinsburg, we aren't either list (if that's something you can boast about!?). See where some of the worst cities are on the list. Hmmm.

The Best And Worst Cities For Your Heart

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in America. In 2008 more than half a million people died from heart disease. The most common type of heart disease is coronary heart disease. Every year more than half a million individuals will experience their first coronary heart attack. Your risk of developing heart disease may be influenced by environmental factors as well as a healthy diet. Men's Health graded 100 cities and determined the best and worst places for your heart. The cities were graded based on the cities death rates for heart disease. Additionally, rates for obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, the number of people who smoke and exercise were factored into the grades each city received. Environmental factors included the EPA statistics regarding air quality. San Francisco trumped the list at number one receiving an “A+” grade. Rounding out the top 10 best cities for a healthy heart were:

Aurora, CO (A+)     Minneapolis, MN (A+)
Seattle, WA (A+)     Portland, OR (A+)
Austin, TX (A+)     Boise City, ID (A)
Colorado Springs, CO (A+)     Oakland, CA (A)
Burlington, VT (A+)

The ten worst cities for your heart were:

Tulsa, OK (F)     St. Louis, MO (F)
Cleveland, OH (F)     Baltimore, MD (F)
Buffalo, NY (F)     Charleston, WV (F)
Toledo, OH (F)     Birmingham, AL (F)
Milwaukee, WI (F)     Philadelphia, PA (F)

You have to be living under a rock to NOT know that the first of the Presidential debates is coming up tonight...if you didn't know...here's what you need to know to watch it.
TIME TO DEBATE _ The first presidential debate is tonight (Wednesday). President Obama and Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney meet up at the University of Denver. PBS' Jim Lehrer moderates. It'll be about an hour and a half.

Also, have you heard about The political Halloween Mask Poll?

Sales of Halloween masks based on U.S. Presidents, and presidential hopefuls, have served as an unofficial election poll that has proven right every time since Clinton Vs. Dole, 1996. So does the fact that Obama mask sales far outnumber those of the Romney mask prove that he'll be re-elected come November? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Hmmm.

Bacon Wrapped breadsticks. Drool. I saw this recipe this morning. I think this would be great for a brunch. It seems pretty easy too. Bacon wrapped bread stickshttp://www.tipjunkie.com/food/recipes/crepes-and-bacon-wrapped-breadsticks/

Undoubtedly, you've heard the story about the Anchorwoman Jennifer Livingston who received a critical piece of mail about her weight? She took to the airwaves for 4 minutes to respond. I think it was well done and she let anonymous writer have it! Goooo Jennifer!
