This morning I really didn't get a chance to talk about too much but I did give away a Jiffy Lube Signature Service Oil Change, a pair of Thunder Over the Blue Ridge Tickets and Movie tickets...indeed a busy morning.


I'm so no up on the NFL or college football for that reason. This region is H-U-U-U-U-G-E for college football (Gooo Mountaineers!). I just saw that Darius Rucker (lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish) is has his own fantasy football for college teams.

Darius Rucker has launched a new version of College Fantasy Football called Pigskin Fantasy U (PFU). This spin off of the original game allows participants to draft whole college teams, instead of individual players. Each week the participant selects teams to either start or bench and points are given when a starting team wins. Rucker is a graduate of the University Of South Carolina and an avid Gamecocks fan. He has been named the Celebrity Commissioner of PFU. “I can’t wait for football season to start,” said Rucker. “Watching games on Saturday is one of my favorite things to do and adding Pigskin Fantasy U to the mix is going to be awesome. My buddies and I needed another reason to talk about football and trash talk each other.” To participate in PFU, people can start a league for free until October 31st, long into the college football season begins. Similar to the original Fantasy Football, participants can play against friends from anywhere, and make their selections via an online, live draft. Get to the site here!
