 Hi I'm Danielle Hedges.  I am a born and raised local girl. After high school, I went to Tennessee where I went to college and met my husband.  After a few years away, I missed my family and my beloved West Virginia so I came back home.  I am a mom to Kacey, Karee and Kaden, they keep me pretty busy. After taking a year away from being on the Mid-day show, I am so glad to be back with you every weekday from 9a-2p.

Kids grow up so fast!

My daughter had her Pre-K graduation on Friday and my oldest daughter will have her last day of the 4th grade on Tuesday. My baby boy just turned 9 months this past week! Where has the time gone?
I noticed a lot of my friends on Facebook were posting about their kids having their end of the year parties and graduations.  I was just thinking the other day about how I can remember a little about Kindergarten but my 4th grade year was one of my favorite years of school. My kids are in the stage of life that I have great memories of. 
I remember when I was younger, older folks like my Pap would say, "Just wait till  you get older, time goes by faster." Of course at the time I didn't believe him but now with 3 kids of my own, I am a believer!
