 Hi I'm Danielle Hedges.  I am a born and raised local girl. After high school, I went to Tennessee where I went to college and met my husband.  After a few years away, I missed my family and my beloved West Virginia so I came back home.  I am a mom to Kacey, Karee and Kaden, they keep me pretty busy. After taking a year away from being on the Mid-day show, I am so glad to be back with you every weekday from 9a-2p.

St Patrick's Day

Growing up I knew the standard pinch someone if they are not wearing green on St. Paddy's day but today I am seeing there is a lot of fun that I am missing. I do have  Irish family on my dad's side so I guess I should celebrate.  I have heard about green beer, I don't drink beer so I can't celebrate that way. Also corn beef and cabbage, which I don't like that either.
Today on facebook, I have seen a lot of families celebrating with their kid's by trying to catch a leprechaun the night before and in the morning he leaves them tricks and treats.  I have never heard of this before!  I think I am missing out on something awesome like getting stuff from Santa or the Easter Bunny.  So for next year I am going to try and catch me a leprechaun!!!
