Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day From Lite 97.5!
This is a picture of myself with my Grandfather and Father. Hope everyone has a great Father's Day! Looks like it is going to be a beautiful day. Have a great time with your dad and try to do a little grilling. Maybe watch a little baseball. I wish it was football season, but we can't have it all!

Martinsburg Relay For Life

Yesterday was the Relay For Life at Martinsburg High School. Lite 97.5 was there the entire day, even our interns Zach and Chad were there until 6am today. It is a great event that helps raise money for cancer research and also remembers the loved ones who we have lost to cancer and those who are going through it right now.

I was there with Marc and we played songs and made announcements during the day. So much was going on, it was great. There were many theme laps including a Frozen T-Shirt lap, which was very entertaining. My favorite was
Mr. Relay, where guys dressed up as super heroes and funny outfits. They even had people doing Zumba at the 50 yard line. Plenty of raffles too. People were winning prizes left and right. Could not ask for a better day for the event either as the weather was perfect. I had a great time and honestly I don't think you can find nicer people than those who participated in this year's Relay For Life. This world is filled with some not-so-good people these days, but these people were genuinely fantastic. They helped raise a lot of money too. I can't wait to go back next year.
